Barolo Chinato - Borgogno - Piedmont

Borgogno's Barolo Chinato is a real flagship of Piedmontese wine production. It is a naturally flavored wine: alcohol, sugar and an infusion of spices are added to the Barolo, including cinchona which gives it its name.

Thus was born a wine that adds sugary and spicy notes to the typical scents of Barolo, warm in the mouth, with silky tannins further softened by the sweet notes of sugar and high alcohol content. Alcohol content 16% vol.

Savor it at the end of a meal in meditation or combine it with desserts, especially semifreddos, based on chocolate and spices.
