Camboi - Castle of Meleto - Tuscany - 2016

Camboi is the acronym of Campo dei Buoi , an area of ​​the apple orchard that was used for breeding these cattle from the Middle Ages until the early 1960s. In that same area in the 70s vineyards were then planted with a prevalence of Malvasia Nera del Chianti which today give us a unique wine. Camboi is the latest creation of Castello di Meleto, but it is carving out a respectable place within our offer. It is a difficult wine to categorize because it is very rare on the national wine scene. The Malvasia family is a boundless family, but it is very difficult to find a pure Malvasia Nera del Chianti because historically it has always been used in blends with other native Tuscan vines.
